Judgement Error

Mike and I went down to Pottery Barn Kids yesterday to buy Caitlin a big girl bedroom set. Success! We found a gorgeous set and not only was it comparable in price to others, I absolutely LOVE it! Now to decide when to move her out of the crib... At least we'll have her set ready for when the baby comes; he/she will probably be in a bassinet in our bedroom for a while so there won't be a big rush to get Caitlin in her big girl bed. But we'll have it ready to go nonetheless.

It took a good while to get everything in order at the store, so we decided to go to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch. We thought it would be fun because she's really into animals, fishies and nature, so we sat right in the heart of the restaurant beside an aquarium. She enjoyed seeing the fishies swim around right next to us!

However, this particular restaurant features realistic rainstorms every 30 minutes, loud grunting gorillas, an elephant stampede and other scary squawking animals. What we thought would be fun was actually a BIG MISTAKE! It terrified her so much - and she doesn't scare easily - that we had to leave before our lunch arrived, and she cried about 'scary elephants' the rest of the afternoon.

Great... I guess we won't be coming back here for a while!!
