First stop, Africa!
It was really chilly and overcast when we woke up this morning, so we weren't sure what to wear. I brought a change of clothes for Caitlin just in case it warmed up, which it did!
Caitlin really enjoyed looking at the hippos swim underwater:
We saw lots of different animals, and had lunch by the zebras. It was such a neat view!
Caitlin even wanted to feed dandelions to the giraffes... but had no takers :)
Sunscreen stop! (She calls it special lotion - special lotion that protects her from the sun :)
She examined absolutely everything while we were there; the view from each window...
...to the painted animals in the "equator" :)
Caitlin really has the cadillac of wagons. We got it for her for her 1st birthday, and it's come in handy for day trips like today, or even just to get the mail. She decided after watching us pull it all day, that she wanted to help push it!
But then caved and rested her tired little legs with a granola bar in hand :)
On the way out, we promised our little munchkin that we'd take her on the carousel. I'm sure she would have been happy riding this around and around all day long instead of seeing stupid animals!
We all had a great day - Caitlin especially!
I managed to snap a pic of us before we packed everything up into the car... she was out like a light before we even left the parking lot!
