Caitlin initially found a set of measuring cups (not in the toy bin of course) that were a hit, but then she discovered a cool contraption that blows balls in the air when you hit a lever…
Where are the balls?
I did it!
It's neat to watch how much the two girls absorb from one another. Her friend Dani totally showed her how to push the button to make the toy work, and I'm sure her mom is hoping Caitlin will show Dani how to get up on her own. Except who would want to if you have a giant cool ball to play with while lying down??!
My friend also had a big Tupperware bin full of clothes for a garage sale that were stored in the toy area, donated by her Aunt Rita. Her daughter Dani got into the bin and – for some reason – chose Aunt Rita's lingerie as her object of interest… and ran around all afternoon with a pair of peach-coloured silky underwear.
I'm glad Caitlin found another toy (a musical mirror) to entertain herself with instead of Aunt Rita's delicates!
Of course, the first thing she did was go up close to see herself… then made silly faces!
I'm sure glad my little munchkin is feeling better :)
