Wasaga Day Trip

We took a day trip up to Wasaga today for a family BBQ. Caitlin loves wearing her sunglasses, but we typically stick to one pair because the other pair wraps around her head using Velcro (which is helpful when she was younger, but now she just gets pissed and rips them off). Here she is before we left, running around the house in her Cape Cod shirt, a diaper, and the Velcro sunglasses…

As soon as we arrived, Caitlin found a beach and was very excited :)

Then she made a beeline for the water…

But daddy caught her just in time.

But she was quite content playing in the sand instead :)

Then we made our way over to Aunt Francie’s cottage for a BBQ where Caitlin admired the pretty flowers…

And played with all the fun toys!

She tried to pick up the bubbles that the bubble lawn mower left behind…

Except she got a little frustrated.

So she decided to run around instead – here she is zooming by!

Daddy snatched her up so we could eat some dinner…

She played a silly game of peek-a-boo/blowfish with her high chair tray…

And enjoyed some delicious broccoli and particularly cold popsicles.

Caitlin got to say hello to her cousin Cristian again…

And played with the big wheels one last time before we had to say goodbye. Until next time!
