Bonnie's Castle

Caitlin received a book at Christmas from grandma and grandpa called, The Perfect Bear. My parents picked it for her because it's a sweet little book, and the artist, Bonnie Bews, lives and has a studio around the corner from the cottage. It's been Caitlin's favourite book since, and she even has characters from it! It's the bedtime routine book, and we read it faithfully every night before singing songs.

Anyway, we thought it would be fun to go to Bonnie's studio which happens to be a castle.

There were all sorts of whimsical things for her to discover around the castle in the nooks, crannies and gardens... like fairies!

And neat tunnels...

There were even fake castle rats which she seemed to like.

Bonnie happens to have a new book coming out soon called, 'Simon the Slug'. I'm sure it will be a hit with the munchkin too!
