Dirty Face

Adam tried creamed corn for the first time today, and of course loved it. Seriously, he loves everything! Caitlin used to have an 'eject' button... we'd try something with her, she'd gauge whether she liked it, and the obvious response for something that was a distinct 'no', was to spit it all back out without an ounce swallowed. There hasn't been one food, or one thing that Adam has refused :)

Aside from food, Adam has displayed he enjoys nibbling on other things too. Namely furniture. He finally realized his teeth are useful! This afternoon, he tried to fell our coffee table. Note the little beaver markings...

When our little woodchuck went for his afternoon nap, Caitlin asked for a snack. She really likes blueberries, particularly frozen ones. She got those, and a purple face as a result :)

Just before I tidied up for dinner, I snapped a picture of the contents of her purse, which was strewn all over the floor (and made me laugh). What every girl needs: jewellery, princesses and multiple cell phones!

Grandma also dropped off the sweetest little outfit this afternoon - it's a test run of the pattern for Adam's baptism outfit. She wanted to see how it fit, and created an adorable Peter Rabbit baby boy romper :) He was sleeping, so I'll have to stick him in it and send a picture back so she knows what adjustments need to be made.

This is the outfit she's trying to mimic which I found on the internet - the final version will have a smocked panel across the front. But for the first run, it's pretty close!

It's actually going to be white on white with some blue smocking on it as an accent. She made the most beautiful dress for Caitlin on her special day and wanted to do the same for our sweet little guy.
