Sunday School

With Adam being baptized next weekend, we've been trying to make more of an effort to go to church. That sounds awful, but with Adam being such a great sleeper, it doesn't allow us to do a lot of stuff... especially from 9:30am-12pm and from 2:00-4:30pm. But no excuses today, he's being welcomed into the family on Sunday.

As such, Caitlin attended her first Sunday School today. We explained to her that when the minister calls all the kids up to the front, you go and sit on the steps and listen to what he says, and then you follow the teacher to the class where you learn about baby Jesus. Not sure how else to explain this to a 3 year old! Anyway, she followed my instructions to the tee, and without looking back, she went up when called, and obediently followed the teacher away for the rest of the service. The first real time away from mom + dad!

She had a blast, and afterwards, we took the kids to Ikea for lunch. Caitlin went over everything she did while at school - coloured, sang and even got to pick some jewellery out from a basket.

Purple fingers and bling proved she had a great time.

Adam on the other hand wanted to escape from his stroller and tried his best to devise a way. He instead tried baby turkey with veggies for the first time today. Easily won over by food, just like his mom!
